  • Low: 6–8 hours (best—makes the meat super tender)

  • High: 3–4 hours

Try not to lift the lid while cooking — it keeps the moisture in.


4. Finish + serve

Taste the gravy and add salt/pepper if needed.

Serve with:

  • Mashed potatoes

  • Rice

  • Egg noodles

  • Steamed veggies

⭐ Tips

  • If you want the gravy thicker: mix 1 tbsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water and stir it in for the last 20 minutes.

  • If you want extra flavor: sear the cube steaks for 1–2 minutes per side before adding to the Crock Pot (totally optional).
