3. Make the cream cheese mixture

  • Beat cream cheese until smooth.

  • Add sugar and vanilla.

  • Mix until creamy.
    (Optional: microwave for 10–15 seconds to soften more for easy spreading.)


4. Make the batter

  • In a bowl, whisk together:

    • flour

    • sugar

    • milk

    • baking powder

    • salt

  • Pour the batter directly over the melted butter. Do not stir.


5. Assemble

  • Spoon the pineapple mixture evenly over the batter. Do not mix.

  • Drop small dollops of the cream cheese mixture all over the top.


6. Bake

  • Bake 45–55 minutes, or until golden and bubbly, and the edges are set.
