🍤 Cajun Shrimp Pasta

Optional Add-Ins

  • Bell peppers or spinach

  • Red pepper flakes (for heat)

  • Lemon juice (for brightness)


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta
    Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.

  2. Season & cook shrimp
    Toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.

  3. Make the sauce
    In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
    Stir in cream, broth, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  4. Combine
    Add Parmesan and stir until smooth.
    Toss in pasta and a splash of pasta water if needed.

  5. Finish
    Return shrimp to the pan and cook 1–2 minutes.
    Finish with lemon juice if using.


Serving Tips

  • Garnish with parsley or green onions

  • Serve with garlic bread or a simple salad
