Instructions

  1. Marinate beef
    Toss beef with cornstarch and soy sauce. Let sit 10–15 minutes.

  2. Sear the beef
    Heat oil in a hot skillet or wok.
    Sear beef quickly (1–2 minutes) until just browned. Remove and set aside.

  3. Stir-fry veggies
    In the same pan, add onions and peppers.
    Cook 2–3 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.

  4. Make it sizzle
    Stir in garlic and ginger (30 seconds).
    Add sauce and bring to a simmer until thickened.

  5. Combine
    Return beef to the pan and toss everything together for 1–2 minutes.

  6. Serve hot
    Best served sizzling over steamed rice or noodles.


Tips

  • Slice beef thin for tenderness

  • Don’t overcook—high heat = juicy steak

  • Extra sizzle: add a splash of sesame oil at the end
