½ cup panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

Cook the pasta
Boil pasta in salted water until just al dente. Drain and set aside. -
Make the cheese sauce
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute.
Slowly whisk in milk, stirring until thick and smooth.
Lower heat and add cheeses, seasoning, and spices. Stir until melted. -
Add seafood
Gently fold seafood into the cheese sauce (don’t over-stir). -
Combine
Mix pasta with sauce, then transfer to a greased baking dish. -
Add topping
Mix breadcrumbs, butter, and Parmesan. Sprinkle evenly on top. -
Bake
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and golden. -
Serve
Let cool 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley if desired.
