🦞 Seafood Mac & Cheese Bake 🧀

Topping

  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 2 tbsp Parmesan

  • Optional: parsley


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta
    Boil pasta in salted water until just al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. Make the cheese sauce
    Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
    Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute.
    Slowly whisk in milk, stirring until thick and smooth.
    Lower heat and add cheeses, seasoning, and spices. Stir until melted.

  3. Add seafood
    Gently fold seafood into the cheese sauce (don’t over-stir).

  4. Combine
    Mix pasta with sauce, then transfer to a greased baking dish.

  5. Add topping
    Mix breadcrumbs, butter, and Parmesan. Sprinkle evenly on top.

  6. Bake
    Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and golden.

  7. Serve
    Let cool 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley if desired.

  • 🦐 Use pre-cooked shrimp to keep it tender

  • 🦀 Crab adds sweetness, lobster adds richness

  • 🔥 Like heat? Add a pinch of paprika or mild Cajun seasoning

  • 🥦 Add-ins: peas, spinach, or broccoli
