🧁 Classic Vanilla Cupcakes

Makes: about 12 cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ½ cup butter (softened)

  • ¾ cup sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ cup milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake pan with liners.

  2. Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt.

  3. Cream butter & sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.

  5. Combine: Add dry ingredients and milk alternately, mixing gently.

  6. Fill liners about ⅔ full.

  7. Bake for 18–20 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.

  8. Cool completely before frosting.
