3. Build the casserole

Spray or lightly grease a baking dish.

Layer in this order:

  2. Corn tortilla pieces

  3. Shredded chicken

  4. More sauce

  5. Cheese

Repeat the layers until everything is used up, ending with cheese on top.


4. Bake

  • Cover with foil and bake 20 minutes.

  • Remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.


5. Let it rest

Let it sit for 5–10 minutes so it sets and is easier to cut.
