Blueberry Brie Jalapeño Poppers
Ingredients

10–12 fresh jalapeños

6–8 oz brie cheese (rind removed), cut into small cubes

½ cup blueberry preserves or jam

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
For the coating

½ cup all-purpose flour
-
1 large egg
-
1 tablespoon milk
-
¾ cup panko breadcrumbs (or regular breadcrumbs)
Optional toppings

Honey drizzle
-
Fresh thyme or chopped chives
Instructions

Prep the jalapeños
-
Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).

Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise.

Remove seeds and membranes (use gloves if you want less heat).
