Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a bowl, mix the peanut butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.

Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet.

Use a fork to press a crisscross pattern on top of each cookie.

Bake for 8–10 minutes until the edges are set.

Let cool for a few minutes (they’ll be soft at first).

You can add chocolate chips if you want!

If the dough feels too sticky, chill it for 10–15 minutes.
