🔹 Step 1: Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray or sheet pan with parchment paper. Use a medium-sized rectangular tray (around 25×35 cm or similar).
🔹 Step 2: Mix the wet ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together:
- Eggs
- Sugar
- Oil
- Milk
- Vanilla extract (if using)
Mix until smooth.
🔹 Step 3: Add the dry ingredients
Add:
- Flour
- Baking powder
- Cinnamon (if using)
Mix until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
🔹 Step 4: Add the apples
Fold in the diced or grated apples. The juice from the apples will help keep the cake moist and tender.
🔹 Step 5: Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared tray and spread it evenly.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
