5️⃣ Add butter baste (optional but amazing)

  • During the last minute, add:

    • 1–2 tbsp butter

    • 1 crushed garlic clove

    • A few sprigs of thyme or rosemary

  • Tilt the pan and spoon the melted butter over the steak repeatedly.


6️⃣ Rest before slicing

  • Remove from heat and rest 5–10 minutes before cutting.

  • This keeps the juices in the meat instead of running out on the plate.


7️⃣ Serve with

  • Roasted veggies, baked potatoes, sautéed onions, or a drizzle of garlic butter.


🔥 Pro Tip:
If it’s grass-fed or leaner beef, cook it slightly less — it can dry out faster than grain-fed meat.
