🧑🍳 Instructions
1. Brown the meat

In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook ground beef over medium-high heat.

Drain excess fat if needed.
2. Sauté the veggies

Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic.

Cook 5 minutes until softened.
3. Add spices

Sprinkle in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

Stir and let spices toast for 1 minute.
4. Add tomatoes and liquids

Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and tomato paste.

Add 1–2 cups beef broth depending on how thick you like your chili.
5. Add beans (if using)

Stir in drained beans.
6. Simmer

Reduce heat to low.

Cover and simmer 30–60 minutes (longer = richer flavor).

Taste and adjust: salt, heat, sweetness, etc.
