Homemade Maple Donut Bars
Ingredients
For the Donut Dough

1 cup warm milk (110°F)

2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)

¼ cup granulated sugar

3 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

1 large egg

1 tsp salt

3 cups all-purpose flour (plus extra for rolling)

Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
For the Maple Glaze

2 cups powdered sugar
-
3 tbsp pure maple syrup
-
2–3 tbsp milk (adjust for thickness)

1 tsp vanilla extract
-
1 tbsp melted butter
-
Pinch of salt
-
Optional: ½ tsp maple extract for stronger flavor
