Ingredients

  • 1 fully cooked bone-in ham (about 8–10 lbs)

  • 1 cup honey

  • ½ cup brown sugar (light or dark)

  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard (or yellow mustard for a milder flavor)

  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar (or orange juice)

  • 1 tsp ground cloves (optional, adds a warm spice note)

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven:
    Set your oven to 325°F (165°C).

  2. Prepare the ham:

    • Place the ham, flat side down, on a rack in a roasting pan.

    • Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern (about ½ inch deep).

    • If desired, stud each diamond with a whole clove.
