Lemon Butter Fish Fillet


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fish
    Pat fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.

  2. Sear the Fillets

    • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

    • Add fish fillets and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until golden and cooked through.

    • Remove fish and set aside.

  3. Make the Lemon Butter Sauce

    • In the same pan, lower the heat.

    • Add butter and let it melt.

    • Stir in minced garlic and cook 20–30 seconds until fragrant.

    • Add lemon juice (and zest if using).

    • Let the sauce simmer for 1 minute.

  4. Combine
    Spoon the lemon butter sauce over the fish fillets. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices.


Serving Ideas

  • Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta.

  • Great with steamed veggies or a green salad.
