Ingredients
For the steak

250–300 g beef (flank steak or sirloin), thinly sliced against the grain

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp cornstarch

1 tsp oil
For the stir-fry

1 large onion, sliced

1 bell pepper (green or mixed colors), sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper (adjust to taste)

1–2 tbsp oil (for cooking)
Sauce
-
2 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional but recommended)
-
1 tsp sugar
-
2–3 tbsp water or beef stock
-
½ tsp cornstarch
