Veggie Stir-Fry with Rice


🍳 Instructions:

  1. Cook the rice:
    Prepare rice according to package directions and set aside.

  2. Prepare the sauce:
    In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster/hoisin sauce, and cornstarch slurry (cornstarch + water). Stir well.

  3. Stir-fry the veggies:
    Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, sautΓ© for 30 seconds until fragrant.
    Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 5–7 minutes, until crisp-tender.

  4. Add the sauce:
    Pour the sauce over the veggies and stir until evenly coated. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  5. Combine and serve:
    Serve the stir-fried veggies over a bowl of hot rice. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.


🌱 Tips:

  • Add tofu, tempeh, or chicken for extra protein.

  • For spice, add chili flakes or sriracha.

  • Use leftover rice for the best texture (less sticky).
