Cook the rice:
Prepare rice according to package directions and set aside. -
Prepare the sauce:
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster/hoisin sauce, and cornstarch slurry (cornstarch + water). Stir well. -
Stir-fry the veggies:
Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, sautΓ© for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 5β7 minutes, until crisp-tender. -
Add the sauce:
Pour the sauce over the veggies and stir until evenly coated. Cook for another 1β2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. -
Combine and serve:
Serve the stir-fried veggies over a bowl of hot rice. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
